A sheet from a sample production log is below. It shows how the first five stages of manufacturing a product has been recorded. Because the text has been written using software, such as a word processor, the colour has been changed, to represent either environmental issues, economic issues, health and safety and skills / modifications. The colour for ‘economic issues’ is black, so these statements are underlined. Only a few of these areas have been identified with arrows below. |

| The last page shows the 'finishing' of the product and the last visual check and testing. On this sheet, the customer is shown testing the product. Please note: usually product testing is more detailed and dealt with in separate sheets. |

The completed tracking sheet has been scanned and is included on the final sheet. This adds further evidence, that all the important key areas such as environmental issues and health and safety have been covered in the production log. |
