Below is an example of a detached house. Some of the details have been added although many aspects such as brickwork, curtains etc.. have not been included.
The house has recently been bought by a young couple who want to modernise its overall look.

Using the basic drawing to the right:

1. Complete the front of the house including aspects such as window frames, garage, alarm, front door, brickwork etc.....
2. Include items inside the house that can be seen from outside.
3. Add minor detail that makes your design more individual, such as curtains, blinds, door number etc...
4. Add appropriate colour / shade.

Design a typical family house. Draw two views:

1. A view looking straight at the front of the house.

2. A view of the back of the house.

Include detail such as windows and doors.
Add extra detail such as curtains, an alarm box, roofing tiles, flowers in the windows and any other detail etc........ Label your designs and add explanatory notes.
