THE FACTS


A well known breakfast foods manufacturer has recently found that sales of it’s products are falling. This is due to competition from breakfast products promoted by other companies.

Young people tend to ‘skip’ breakfast, preferring to buy chocolate or crisps from shops on their way into school.

The Government has asked food manufactures to introduce breakfast food products that are appetising, healthy and interesting to young people.

   
1. You are to modernise the style of writing used for ‘Breakfast’ (a well known name for a cereals company) so that it appeals to young people. In the two spaces below produce two rough designs for the updated style. Please note, the name cannot be changed, just the style of writing.
