DESIGN PROBLEM | |
A supermarket chain has approached your company, to design a small mechanical toy, that will be placed at every checkout. It will be next to a new range of healthy, tasty treats, which have replaced the usual chocolate / sugary treats. The aim is to promote healthy snacks for adults and to capture the attention of young children for the short time they are at the check out. The mechanical toy should be simple, interactive and cheap to manufacture. The product should be associated with fun and can include a popular cartoon character. It must incorporate a ‘cam’ mechanism. |

The toy will be based on a theme or character. It will be colourful and incorporate a mechanism. The design may include well known characters, popular with young children.” |
