|Collect an image / photocopy / print, that you find interesting.
|Sketch an outline version. Simplify the shapes and outlines. remove most of the detail.
|Draw a precise version, adding colour and shade. Use a limited number of colours, perhaps three or four.
|An image of a single rocket / firework ‘burst’ has been selected.
|The outline of the fire burst is sketched, following the basic pattern as seen in the photograph.
|A limited number of colours are added. They could be based on colours clearly identified in the photograph or just based on bright colours, associated with celebrations.
