| First you will manufacture a rough version of your popup book. This will allow you to check that the text, drawings and pictures work together with the card mechanism. |

| 1. Decide on the style of popup mechanism. In this case an internal stand has been selected. |

| 2. Manufacture two that are exactly the same. they will eventually be arranged back to back. |
| |
 |
| |
|
|
| |
| 3. Add a backing card to both halves of the popup book. Select a suitable colour, after considering your story board. |

 |
| |
| |
| 4. Once the story and pictures / drawings have been added, the two halves of the popup book will be glued together. |
