| SIMPLE LED TORCH - DISASSEMBLED FISH TORCH |

The fish torch is composed of layers of MDF, foam, and pine, two 1.5
button / coin cells and an ultra bright LED. The disassembled torch is
seen below. When it is assembled, double sided tape is used to hold the
layers together. When new batteries are required, the parts can be
‘pulled’ apart and the old batteries replaced. Colour can be added to the top surface of the MDF. In this example the torch has been shaped to look like a fish and tropical fish markings applied with felt pens, coloured pencils or even paint. To turn the torch ‘on’ , simply press the parts together. The legs of the LED are pressed against the positive and negative sides of the batteries, forming the circuit and the LED emits light. |
