In 2009, in th UK, 17% of all road deaths
were caused by drink driving. Preventable accidents of this type cause
immense pain and suffering to the family and friends of those injured or
killed. Even when relatively minor accidents occur, if the driver is found to have alcohol in his / her system, there will be serious consequences. For example, a conviction for drink driving can lead to job less, a loss of driving licence and a sentence. |
