This idea is the combination of the injection moulded idea (ABS - Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and the strip acrylic idea. The aim is to design a simple organiser, which also has a detachable base, that resistants being knocked over. The final result will be aesthetically pleasing and stylish.

This development has two semi-spheres. One fits inside the other and allows movement to almost any angle.

The remote control organiser ‘rack’, attaches to the top semi-sphere. The design allows the user to angle the remote controls in the rack to suit his/her seating position.

The design seen here has been set at an angle, suitable for the user, sat in an easy chair. It cannot be knocked over and ‘bounces back’ to it’s original position, just like a subbuteo player.

It is a modern design, but suited to most environments, including traditionally furnished rooms.

MANUFACTURE

The two semi-spheres are injection moulded. The top semi-sphere fits inside the base semi-sphere, allowing movement. The ‘rack’ that holds the remote controls, is manufactured from acrylic whilst the injection moulded parts are manufactured from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).

MATERIAL FINISHES:
All the parts are available in a range of colours, according to the mix of pigment and ABS/acrylic. All parts are polished using a buffing machine. This provides a professional gloss finish.
