Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) needs your skills
Who we
are and what we do
VSO is an
international development charity that works through volunteers. Our
vision is a world without poverty in which people work together to fulfil
their potential. We bring people together to share skills, creativity and
learning to build a fairer world.
Our
volunteers aim to pass on their expertise to local people so that when
they return home their skills remain. Volunteers can be aged between 20
and 75 years old and must have a formal qualification and some work
experience. Regular postings are for two years, across Africa and Asia and
volunteers are provided with a financial package, outlined below.

We cover all
the costs for you. Our financial package for volunteers includes a
locally equivalent salary,
return flights,
accommodation,

We also provide you with a series of grants, before, during an after your
