SAMPLE - POSTER CAMPAIGN

Apple products such as the famous iPOD, are regarded as high quality, innovative and world leading. They dominate the MP3 market and are often advertised through posters. The posters can be seen whilst travelling by train on the underground in London. The aim is to learn from this successful form of advertising and to apply this to my product (called ‘inSIGHT’).

I really like this poster, advertising the Apple iPOD. The poster is simple and promotes the product in a very simply way.
 
My poster shows a person dancing to the high fidelity music of the inSIGHT. The style is the same as the iPOD poster. I have included a detailed picture of ‘inSIGHT’, so that it is clearly seen.
     
 
     
     
     
POP ART POSTER
inSIGHT - POP ART POSTER
Pop Art posters really striking and eye catching. Pop Art takes everyday objects and displays then as pieces of art. Multiple images are often used (see below). Pop art is easily recognisable and this type of poster is popular amongst both current students and former 1960s and 1970s students, provoking Nostalgia (sentiment for the past). Using this style would boldly display the product and make it appear ‘decadent’ and different.
The same Pop Art characteristics have been used to design the inSIGHT poster. The image of dancers is repeated. The bold colour scheme has been copied. In the centre, a simple outline image of the ‘inSIGHT’ is included. This symbol could easily become the recognised image of the manufacturing company / product, like a trademark.
