SAMPLE ANSWER: |
NOTES: |
The basic packaging shape has been redesigned to form a
bag with a handle. This means it can be moved / carried around, making the
playset more transportable (SEE DIA.1). It will be manufactured from translucent polypropylene (a recyclable material). The outer packaging will be cut to shape with a purpose made ‘die’ and folded on a creasing machine (SEE DIA. 2). A small clear polypropylene window, allows potential buyers to look at some of the contents. Suitable graphics will be added, including a product name, in a graphical style. The graphics will include shapes and illustrations, such as flowers, more appropriate to the target market. |
The inlay for the box will be manufactured from vacuum formed polypropylene sheet. The arms leg, necks etc... fit onto recesses in the polypropylene (SEE DIA. 3). |
A variety of information will be added to the packaging. Symbols that clearly show that the materials used in the manufacture of the package, are environmentally friendly. Symbols such as the EEC Ecolabel and general recycling symbols will be included. Safety symbols that make it clear to the customer, that the packaging and product have be checked for safety standards by the BSI. and the EEC Conformite European Symbol, will also be printed on the package (SEE DIA.4). |
