Car manufacturers are developing vehicles that utilise new technology. One
example is Volvo cars, who are using composite materials for the car body,
that also replace the need for a heavy car battery.
The composite material (carbon fibre and polymer resin) replaces the steel panels and holds the charge normally stored in a traditional battery.
