HOW TO DRAW A TOPOLOGICAL MAP
V. Ryan © 2002 - 2009

A topological map is a simplified version of an existing map. Every attempt is made to make the map easy to follow. For example, in the topological map shown opposite the roads are generally straight and much of the unnecessary detail of the original map has been left out.

Your map should be similar but you may also want to add some of the buildings. These may include:

The Irish Life Centre
Custom House
The GPO
and more roads.
