LELLA AND MASSIMO VIGNELLI - "HANDKERCHIEF" ARMCHAIR
DESIGNED FOR KNOLL -1983

The inspiration for this chair, was wind blowing a handkerchief through the air. Although the chair looks fragile, it is in fact very strong, ergonomic and comfortable. The chairs stack perfectly together in minimal space. A version of the chair is available with arms. The composite seat is manufactured from high resistant polyurethane and fibreglass reinforced polyester. The chair is deceptively strong and lightweight.

PAPERCLIP TABLE - LELLA AND MASSIMO VIGNELLI
DESIGNED FOR KNOLL - 1994

A classic, contemporary, slender, modernist, design. Characterised with a slate top and chrome tube legs. This would be at home with Bauhaus designs of the 1920s and 1930s. The legs resemble steel paperclips, hence the tables name.
