Matthew is making progress in Systems and Control although he needs to be completing more folder work if a high GCSE grade is to be assured. He has produced some interesting designs but he is sometimes untidy. He needs to work with the project template, which will guide him through the course. Matthew is capable of good work but sometimes settles for a lower standard.

Dale is making progress in Systems and Control although he needs to improve his quality of drawing. He always hands his homework in on time and shows genuine interest in this subject. He has produced some interesting designs but he is sometimes untidy. With effort and hard work Dale should gain a good GCSE grade.

Matthew is making progress in Systems and Control although he needs to pay full attention at all times. He usually hands his homework in on time and shows genuine interest in this subject. He has produced some interesting designs but with greater concentration the quality of his work could be further improved. With effort and hard work Matthew should gain a good GCSE grade. He is too chatty at times.

Conor is making good progress in Systems and Control. He always hands his homework in on time and shows genuine interest in this subject. He has produced some interesting designs and with continued effort and hard work he should gain a good GCSE grade. Conor always listens carefully to the teacher and is a pleasant member of the class.

Daniel is making progress in Systems and Control although he had difficulty in the examination. He always hands his homework in on time and shows genuine interest in this subject. He has produced some interesting designs but he is sometimes untidy. With effort and hard work Daniel should improve his grades. He needs to revise very carefully for examinations.

Sophie’s progress in Systems and Control is very good. She has produced some interesting and individual designs showing that she is able to work independently. She is developing a good understanding of electronics and the way circuits can be used as part of a design. Her drawings and designs are always well presented and she always hands in homework on time.

Christopher is making progress in Systems and Control although he often rushes his work. He always hands his homework in on time but this is usually because he completes it quickly rather than producing his best work. He usually follows and understands the theory / exam work when others have difficulty. Christopher could do very well in this subject if he decided to do so.

Christopher is not achieving the grades that his ability would suggest. He often has to be chased up about his homework and usually completes little work in class. He is a polite and pleasant pupil but he needs to realise that without effort and hard work he will not gain a good GCSE grade. He produced a reality good examination result but his coursework let him down.
